Travel Terms and Conditions for Natur&Foto Photo Tours and Workshops
Natur&Foto is a member of the Travel Guarantee Fund and provides a travel guarantee.
Registration
Once you have paid the deposit fee, the registration is binding.
Participant’s Responsibility
The participant must book their own flights after Natur&Foto has recommended a specific route. If a different route is chosen, the participant is responsible for ensuring arrival at the designated meeting point at the time specified in Natur&Foto’s proposed itinerary. Natur&Foto advises against purchasing tickets before we have provided a suggested route. Natur&Foto is not responsible for incorrect route selections. The participant must ensure that Natur&Foto has the necessary information, such as address, email address, phone number, and next of kin details.
Price and Payment
The deposit is paid upon registration, either directly via our website or through an invoice issued by our accounting firm. The deposit amount varies depending on the destination. It is usually NOK 5,000, but for longer and more expensive trips it may be NOK 10,000 or NOK 15,000. The deposit is non-refundable once paid.
2–3 months before departure, depending on the destination, the final invoice will be issued. Once the final invoice has been paid, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. In case of illness/accidents, including within the immediate family, travel insurance will usually cover this. If registration occurs shortly before departure (within 2–3 months), the full amount is due immediately.
Cancellation by Organizer
Natur&Foto reserves the right to cancel a trip if there are too few participants. We do not cancel a trip once flight schedule information has been sent out, as that indicates sufficient participation. However, Natur&Foto may cancel a trip if an unexpected situation arises at the destination, such as natural disasters, war, etc., even if participants have already purchased flight tickets. Natur&Foto holds no liability for compensation in such cases.
Cancellation by Participant
Cancellations must be made in writing. If cancellation occurs before the deposit is paid, no costs will be incurred. If cancellation occurs after the deposit has been paid but before the final invoice is paid, the deposit will be forfeited. After the final payment has been made, no refunds will be given in case of cancellation.
Travel Insurance and Cancellation Protection
Natur&Foto strongly advises participants to obtain travel insurance. Cancellation protection is also recommended in case a situation arises that forces you to cancel your trip.
Health
You must be in good general health to participate in our trips. It is important that participants with health issues or special dietary requirements inform Natur&Foto before the trip. Many of our trips go to locations where access to doctors or hospitals may be limited. Natur&Foto is not responsible for any medical issues that may arise during the trip. Evacuation, hospital expenses, etc., must be covered by the participant through their travel insurance.
Price Changes
Natur&Foto reserves the right to increase the price of the trip due to changes in transportation costs, hotel prices, taxes, duties or fees, or exchange rates. Any price adjustment will be communicated before the final invoice is issued.
Shared Double Room
When booking a trip, a shared double room is included in the price. However, travelers who have booked a double room must be prepared to pay a single room supplement if a roommate is not available. The single supplement is stated in the trip description. If applicable, Natur&Foto will inform you before requesting final payment.
Flight Changes and Delays
Natur&Foto holds no financial responsibility for changes in flight schedules, cancellations, etc., that result in additional hotel nights, extra transport, or similar expenses.
